Vėlių Namai is an international Baltic dark folk project founded in Prague in 2006. The Curonians, or Kúrir in Old Norse, were fearless Baltic warriors—a tribe that inhabited the coastal lands of Western Lithuania and Latvia. This album is dedicated to the memory of their name and their struggle.

Vėlių Namai will lead you to the highest mountain, allowing you to pay your respects to the souls of our ancestors and the Kúrir who dwell there. May we find strength and inspiration in them!

All sounds were performed and recorded using authentic acoustic instruments.
