MJR LUNAR CALENDAR 2025

The lunar calendar for the coming year is a long-standing tradition of Ragainė and MJR, which continues in 2025.

🌙 In the olden days, the Balts lived according to the lunar calendar, a 9-day week, the year ending in March and beginning in April, when Nature comes to life.Each month began with a new moon. Therefore this MJR calendar, on the other hand, has been adapted to the present date format, starting on 1 January. The phases of the moon are arranged in days exactly in Vilnius time (UTC +2:00).

🌙 The calendar shows the change of the Moon throughout the year, marking equinoxes, lunar and solar eclipses and supermoons. Sundays are marked with crosses so you can easily find each day of the week.

🌙 The twelve months of the year are marked with the old Lituanian calendar symbols found on the Gediminas scepter.
