A profound transmission from the depths of Lituanian electronic music, Sakmės apie laiką ir erdvę (Tales of Time and Space) is the latest release from the long-running conceptual ambient project MIGLOJE. The album serves as an invitation to a subconscious pilgrimage through sound and mind.

Through multi-layered and unconventional sonics, MIGLOJE explores the origins of existence, guided by the distant echoes of Hindu and Baltic myths. Developed over a span of seven years and finalized in 2022, this work is presented to international audiences under the title Linear Emotions 2.

History & Philosophy: Active since 1997, MIGLOJE is a definitive name within the Lituanian experimental scene. The project’s style has evolved from the aggressive intensities of hardcore techno and IDM into the expansive, meditative realms of ambient soundscapes. The name migloje (Lithuanian for “in the fog”) encapsulates a specific creative state found in the late evening—a fertile emptiness where the creator is fully immersed in a world of peace and sound.

Mythological Concept: The cover art, created by Mantas Misevičius, depicts Vishnu sleeping within the cosmic ocean, dreaming the material world into being. From the lotus flower blooming from Vishnu’s navel, Brahma is born to manifest matter and establish the physical and spiritual laws of the universe.

Inspired by these cosmological abstractions, MIGLOJE has crafted eleven atmospheric compositions named after unknown constellations. Tales of Time and Space offers a profound experience of perception, sounding particularly resonant within the still, cold glow of winter.
